Cryptocoryne Parva is considered one of the smallest variants of Cryptocorynes. Its green, grass-like leaves usually grow to a whopping 2″, making it a suitable choice for a foreground plant. It’s one of the few species that does not significantly change its leaf shape or color under different conditions. Individual plants should be planted a approximately an inche apart. In a few, months the plant will form a cohesive low-growing carpet. Similar to other species of Crypt, its growth rate is slow and although not required, more light is favorable. Thus it must never be overshadowed by other plants.
