Cyperus Helferi is a tall grass-like plant that can be grown submerged or emerged. Its leaves are long and thin and can grow up to 20+ inches long. Given its height, this aquatic plant makes a wonderful background choice for larger planted aquarium tanks. Cyperus Helferi is low maintenance and will adapt to a wide range of aquarium conditions as long as the temperature is not too high.
Propagation is simple as they spread via side shoots and are easily separated. Regular pruning is recommended as this species can grow to the height of your aquarium easily and will also anchor deep into substrate if given the opportunity to do so.
