Micranthemum ‘Monte Carlo’ is a low growing aquatic plant that originates from New Zealand. If given sufficient lighting and nutrients it can grow into a thick carpet. Its leaves are small and round with bright green coloration. In addition, it’s often compared to Hemianthus Callitrichoides (HC/Dwarf Baby Tears) but with larger leaves. It’s common for anyone who has had difficulties with HC to try Monte Carlo since the general consensus is that it’s much easier to grow.
