This is a new variant of Rotala from India. It has leaf shape similar to Rotala Macrandra. However, it is green with some light white stripes on leaf veins and gets slightly pink when grown under intense light.
This Rotala was apparently found in the district Shimoga in the Indian state Karnataka. It is likely a local variant of Rotala rotundifolia.
