Vesicularia Montagnei, Vesicularia Dubyana Christmas or simply known as Christmas Moss is a staple aquarium moss that is comparable to the popular Java Moss. This aquarium plant and aquatic moss provides excellent shade and coverage for shrimp and fish and is extremely versatile with placement. Christmas Moss, like other aquatic mosses, can be used for a number of styles, reasons and can be easily attached to hardscape material such as aquascaping stones and aquarium driftwood.
Alternatively, aquarium moss is commonly used to create tree-like structures, cover unnatural cuts or areas in an aquascape layout, simply left free-floating or placed in the foreground as a moss carpet.
